GIVING GAVE HER A PLACE IN CHURCH HISTORY
We realise that service in the Kingdom of God is a great way to express our commitment to the Kingdom and giving financially is one of the deepest way to show you love God.
WHY?

The only thing that is placed side by side with the Almighty n the Bible  is "Mammon'.

 A minister may scale many obstacles but be brought down by the hurdles of mammon. It's webs are crafty and it approach careful. 

He ( mammon)  only wants a small place in your heart so that he can influence your decisions in Ministry and life. ( That's all mammon wants, for little is enough to unseat God in your heart)

The woman with the Alabaster jar of ointment was just doing her own thing, her heart was filled with worship, her eyes would not stop shedding tears of appreciation to the Saviour who delivered from the power of the Enemy.

 And she took a year wage to buy a very expensive oil  coupled with her tears and wrapped by her hair (which was her glory) to anoint the feet of the subject of her love. She was not looking for fame, she just wanted to give back to The Redeemer who saved her.

Sincerely, Jesus Christ our LORD deserves every love and worship pour on Him 
A song writer wrote
" Like oil upon His Feet
Like wine for you to drink
Like water from my eyes
I pour my love on Him
If praise is like perfume
I will lavish mine on you
Till every drop is gone
I pour my love on you 

The woman with the Alabaster jar of ointment was just giving to the LORD , a  year wage with her worship not knowing she was entering divine prophecy waiting for someone who cares enough to fulfill it.

She entered Eternal relevance by giving which Christ termed an act of Service to the Lord . Matt 26:6-13; Luke 7:37-49 and John 7:1-8.

She did it with a pure motive of just appreciating the LORD and it was the purity of her intentions that caused her to be assigned  that unique position of preparing Jesus body for His death.

Genuine service borne out of sincere concern for the Kingdom of God will open Heaven' s gate to you 
It will  give you access to kingdom treasures awaiting those who care enough 

The greatest TREASURE on the Earth is JESUS CHRIST.

Abraham  understood 'gold will fade, silver will wear out, servants and slaves may betray you or forsake you, a spouse may soeak against you in times of trouble like Job's wife 
BUT I AM YOUR EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD!

If you don't get anything from this season : GET THIS- ALL CAN BE LOST IN A SECOND and all you have left for eternity is YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST.

Today the deeds of the Woman with Alabaster jar of anointing has been used in  Hit Gospel.songs, Award winning sermons, in A-list movies and Manuel in Bible Schools and Universities.

She is not been celebrated because she healed the sick, raised the dead, rather through her giving she fulfilled the divine mandate for her life.

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles. It's various symbols of giving hugs, blowing kisses, having a dreamy eyes towards it subject and many other shows that is a virtue widely accepted by all as very important  I grew up in a environment where the Word Love was mostly used when there is a relationship between the opposite sex.
