JESUS CHRIST, OUR LORD WAS BETRAYED

THE LORD BETRAYED BY HIS FRIENDS
THE TEST OF LOYALTY

Jesus Christ love for His friend is.unfathomnable. He humbled Himself and gave then His all.yet some betrays Him

'Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 
You are my friends if you do what I command.
 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead,

 I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. John 15:23:15

Jesus Christ love his dicples with the passionate love of a friend and a lover. And He was both to them.

Though He created them and was their LORD, He chose to be their friend and revealed His secrets to them.

He was so friendly with them that Peter could openly correct Him when He informed them about His death on the cross for the sins of the World.

He was vulnerable with them, went everywhere with them, ate with them and they even slept in the same room..
He took them into the Secret place with His heavenly Father. He was and is everything to them

He shared His anointing and authority with friends  and also allowed them to share His honour .

He was a provider, he met all their needs

He was a healer,  he healed Peter' s mother-in-law and kept all the disciples in good health.

There are no record that any of the disciples were sick when The Christ was with them

Christ was their protector, he defended them from the criticisms and assault of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.
He prayed for Peter when Satan desired to test Him

Jesus Christ, our LORD did all He could to demonstrate His Love, loyalty and commitment to His friends (also His disciples) yet one of His friend sold His identity to the Enemy.

Judas Iscariot betrayed Him though the Master had put in place every precaution to protect Judas from his weakness :'THE LOVE OF MONEY'

Jesus Christ made Judas the treasurer and knew he was stealing from the purse but did not exposed him to ridicule.. 

Jesus put Judas in charge of the finance  of His Ministry so that the enemy will have no ground to tempt him successfully.

Jesus Christ loved Judas and He did his best to ensure that his friend not to fall into the hands of the His Enemy.
But Judas Iscariot Love of Money was greater than his Love for The Christ.
ANYTHING YOU HONOUR AND LOVE MORE JESUS CHRIST YOUR LOVE WILL BECOME A SNARE.
Either it is :-
POWER, FAME, REPUTATION, RESULT , SUCCESS, HONOUR FROM MEN, GREATNESS, MONEY etc

God has given us all the above as a blessing and your inheritance but if your LOVE for them is GREATER than your LOVE for JESUS CHRIST, they will become a snare and make you disloyal to The Christ and His Word.

Jesus Christ our LORD asked Peter ' LOVE me more than THESE?

MY CONCEPT OF LOVE

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles. It's various symbols of giving hugs, blowing kisses, having a dreamy eyes towards it subject and many other shows that is a virtue widely accepted by all as very important  I grew up in a environment where the Word Love was mostly used when there is a relationship between the opposite sex. The Women l stayed with as a child never used the Word ' I love you' to express any kind of feelings to me and my father and only sister certainly never used same word on me.
