A MINISTER AND HIS MESSAGE CAN BE ATTACKED!
The Invisible realm is real and it controls almost everything that happens in the natural realm. We will base the premise of this write- up on the statement of our LORD Jesus Christ in John 8:42-44
"If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 

Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. 

He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. 
When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies."

The Bible says the Devil is a murderer from the beginning. The Devil was created as an archangel and a Servant to The Almighty just as angels are sons of God and also His Servants.

But the Enemy life mission changed  after his rebellion in heaven and he was cast to the earth (Revelation.12), He lives to actively  stand anything that is Christ who is his Master and Creator. (Colossians 1;15-20)

The Enemy has been carrying out systematic attacks against Christ and His Body which is the Church. 

HOW IT ALL STARTED
The Enemy attack against God's anointed and His Body  started in Genesis 3  when he plotted against God and turned Adam and Eve against their Creator. 
These assaults continued  continued for generations upto the present generation. 

He still executes same vicious attacks, same demons/evil spirits ( devils/demons don't die) but  different strategies.

THE ENEMY'S ATTACK AGAINST THE NIGERIAN CHURCH

The  onslaught of Hell against the Church is as old as the Church history.. Recently, it has  intensified in the World especially in the Nigerian Church because the end of all things is near.

The Kingdom of darkness attacks against the Nigerian Church is well planned and systematic. It takes only the discernment of the Holy Spirit to even realised they are  planned attacks.

The visible attack from terrorists and some anti- Church  governmental policies is visible and everyone can see them. But there are the subtil behind the scene attacks that we may not be aware of but that are real.

AGAINST THE MAN OF GOD
I have witnessed on several occasions when termites attack a building especially the wooden structures. 

In my office, l made a four- legged wooden ladder of about 10 feet tall. After use, we kept it by the side of the office building.

We see the ladder daily until one day we saw that the ladder had disintergrated. Termites had been eating into its fiber though we saw it standing. It was only when it collapsed that we realised their vicious attack.

The lives of some Ministers of the Gospel and eventually their ministries is like that structure destructed by that silent and gradual.attacks by termintes. 

The Enemy has attacked their integrity, testimony, love for God, commitment to the truth quietly and secretly yet they continued in the flamboyance of ministry work.

They have  stopped the fervent  praying and the study of the Word  but still visit the Bible for insight for preaching and ministration.

The personal worship life is not God- entered and the corporate  worship lifestyle has become routinal. Praise and worship session is to prepare the hearts of their congregations and for God to visit the meetings with His miracle. ( Which is right but we should make a time to focus on Jesus Christ).

These ministers know something' has gone wrong with their lives and ministry but their congregations still think all is well because the Church business and activities continue as usually.

We only realised the works of hell when a major scandel hits the ministry and it's reputation and intergity  is put in doubt. 

It is only then that  other believers start their ministry of criticisms and judgement. Instead of going to their closet and asking for God's help for that ministry.

The  goal of the Enemy for this kind of attack is to cut off the believer' pastor, general overseer relationship from the leadership and leading of the Holy Spirit.

At first the Man of God continues as usual but after a while he realised that he had left Jesus behind like his parents left him behind in the temple and journey without knowing He was not with them.

These three reactions can be expected from the Minister at this stage.

REPENTANCE- Repentance is not just necessary when you sin, it is also important to show remorse and a change of heart when you stop following the way of the Kingdom on any issue.

The Minister can go to God and confess any mistakes  and repent and asked the Holy Spirit to restore him to active fellowship with him..

CONTINUE AS LONG THERE IS SUCCESS
And the minister can continue as long  as the crowd and money is there. Worse case, he will revert to earthly wisdom to continue with his divine mandate.from heaven.

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles.
