PROVE ALL CLAIMS
The gift of discerning of spirits is the enablement of the Holy Spirit to distinguish and tell the differences between the actions of the Holy Spirit, angelic spirits , demonic spirits  and human spirits and this gift is needed urgently by every believer in the Body of Christ presently. 

This manifestation of the Holy Spirit enables you to know if the word of prophecies, dreams, visions, revelations that you heard from any body especially Ministers of the Gospel is from either  God's Holy Spirit, God's angels, Satanic spirits or from a human spirit.

ANOTHER QUALITY OF THE EPHESIAN CHURCH

'I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.  'Rev. 2:2b

Matt 7:21 shows that people can be different from whatever they say. ' Many say "Lord, Lord " to Jesus Christ yet they will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You are supposed to recognise a person by their words but presently, a person's words may not be the true reflection of his true self

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.att 7;21-23

The same Bible verses show that having and operating spiritual  authority and gifts without doing the Will of God  will not give you access to the Kingdom of heaven .

It is in the background of these truths that every believer must always test every self -proclaimed preacher, teacher, prophet and apostles and prove that their cliams are authentic and that they are men/women of the pure spirits.

This was the attitude of the Ephesian believer , Jesus Christ our LORD commended them for being believers who do not tolerant wicked men and who tested those those who claim to be apostles but are false. 

They were not men and women who are easily deceived by signs and wonders performed by anyone under the claim of " I am a minister of the Gospel.

 RATHER, they look inward into their inner man for the witnessing of the Holy Spirit for the true identity of all men ( preachers or non preachers alike.)

AGENTS OF SATAN CAN PERFORM SIGNS AND WONDERS TOO
In Exodus 7:10-12

"So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the Lord commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake. Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs."

If you make the decision to submit your destiny to a Man/woman of God because they perform signs and wonders and speak prophecies and it came to past, remember that Satan has the power and ability to counterfeit the manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Ghost and he is using it to deceive the world today especially believers.

Moses and Aaron produced the manifestation of a sign and wonder by the power of God and Pharaoh magicians manifested exactly the same signs.

The difference forever is that the power of Christ has defeated Satan!

The Ephesians Church just like the Berean Church did not believer every claims or Spirit rather they tested all spirits.

'Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.  "  I John 4;1-2

DANGER OF BELIEVING ALL SPIRIT
1. If you receive a prophecy from a minister who gave you a prediction by the assistances of demons and you believed it and carried out the instructions therein. 

Whatever they told you will come to past because you believed it but you have become the slave.of the demonic spirits; you gave access to  your life and destiny  Because whosoever you obey, you become their slaves. Romans 6

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles.
