THE WORK OF GOD DEMANDS SACRIFICE SERIES

OFFENCES MAY COME

The work of God demand sacrifice, it requires self denial, it necessitates selflessness.

I know it has been 'glamourised' and made this Career of pleasure, fun and a money making machine.

But in reality it takes the power of the Holy Ghost to forsake your comfort, self and seek passionately  for any man/ woman to be delivered from the powers and oppression of Satan and bring them to the Light of Jesus Christ who is the Lover of their souls 

Jesus Christ, our Lord carried out His SEEVICE to Humanity and ito the Father with much sacrifice with critics functioning as monitoring and surveillance spirits to truncate and terminate His Service to the people.

In John 4:1, the Bible revealed the possible source of the begining of John the Baptist taking  offence at Jesus ministry:

Jesus realized that the Pharisees were keeping count of the baptisms that He and John performed ( although His disciples , not Jesus did the actual baptizing)
They had posted the score that Jesus was ahead, turning him and John into rivals in the eyes of the people-......Jesus was worn out by the trip and sat down at the well.
John 4:16

You can suffer burn out in your calling if you are not careful and shut your ears to the side talks from critics within and without. 

 I worked as a Church full time staff  for a total of 14 years ( And was close to its leadership) before l resigned to start a business. 

These men/women of God make unimaginable sacrifices to ensure that men are delivered and set free. 

Critics only see the harvest of their labour in the Kingdom and start their ministry of pulling down and destruction.

Please understand that service to God and the people can wear you out and cause burn -out.

Especially if you service is clouded by so much criticism especially from the people you were sent to help.

The Pharisees could not stop Jesus Christ and John the Baptist from fulfilling their.divine mandate.

Satan had tried to hijack their ministries and use their God- given gifts and calling to further his agenda of to kill, steal and destroy. ( The temptation of Jesus)

You must be careful with your calling and giftings. It is so easy to begin to use foreign ideas to run the ministry and forsake the teachings of the Lord.

Kindly check what principles you adopted in bringing men to Christ, in running the ministry and collecting seed and offering from the people.

You must understand that the Enemy has changed his strategy of outright persecution against the Church. 
Now subtility is employed from different frontiers.

He is now employing   outright hijack, you still preach the Bible but you speak more about yourself and your achievement than you speak about Jesus Christ.

The people know more about you than they know about Jesus Christ. They look up to you but there gaze is not on JESUS CHRIST, the author and finisher of their faith.

Jesus Christ spoke of the Holy Spirit that He will never draw attention to Himself rather The Spirit will take from Christ and give to the people. John 16

He said the Spirit will not speak of Himself but will always give you messages of Christ crucified and resurrected.

Another strategy the Enemy uses is to create division between Servants of God and between the representatives of God and the people 

What is happening in the Nigeria Church is not new. The Enemy used the same strategy against our Lord Jesus .

The Bible says in John 4 ( The Message version) that the Enemies of the Gospel began to compare the ministry of Jesus.and that of John.
THEY POSTED SCORE THAT JESUS WAS AHEAD AND TURNED JESUS AND JOHN INTO RIVALS IN THE EYE OF THE PEOPLE.

Comparing your ministry to the ministry of others is not the Spirit but the work of the flesh and sometimes from the Enemy.

GOD IS NOT IMPRESSED BY HOW MANY PERSONS ATTEND YOUR CHURCH, HE REWARDS FAITHFULNESS IN YOUR CALLING.

He gave you a.mandate and will judge you based on your faithfulness in that vision He gave you..

Some are made captains over 10, 100, 1000, etc. It is God that distributes calling and gifts. 
If you are made captian over 100, work sacrificially over the TEN, that the least of this ten will become mighty nations.

You will still get reward from all those you raised in the Kingdom of God permits it.

Sometimes, God rewards you through other people and means.

. It means the pastor who raised 10 who individually raised nations will still get rewards from the nations they raised. 

Reason this in the natural. When a Minister in Nigeria  raised another minister who is sent to Sudan by the Holy Spirit and He raises a nation for God in Sudan.

The resources in Sudan will still find it way back to the minister in Nigeria by the grace of God.

May God give us understanding in this matter. So Satan through the Pharisees sought to create enemity between John the Baptist and the people.

Eventually, John the Baptist  took offend against Jesus ' are you the Messiah or we should look for another.
