SCENARIO TEN

QUEEN ESTHER, A WOMAN OF MANY COLOURS
SHE OPERATED BY GOD'S WISDOM
King Ahesuerus was an heathen king that did not understand the Laws of God (he was an unbeliever)   but

Esther through obeying the principles of honour, submission and respect to her husband was able to bring her husband to a state whereby he loved her so much that he was ready to give her half of his Kingdom.

This is the action of a man whose.heart trust in Esther and knew his kingdom was safe with her.
Esther had wisdom, she knew how to apply the knowledge she had about her husband to meet her need

SHE.UNDERSTOOD HER PLACE IN THE KING'S LIFE
She never misused the privileges given to her by her husband the King. She separated the office of the King from that of her husband- her.lover.

She will not appear in the King's presence excerpt summoned. Though, this may appear an archaic pattern of marriage especially in this age of women liberation but we must accept the truths of the Bible as our tenets for living.

God in His infinite wisdom put submission on the part of the woman and the love responsibility on the man.
We should request for grace to live as the Master so that we can indeed be godly examples of  The Light that shines in darkness.

SHE HONOURED HER HUSBAND
One of the reasons, Vashti lost her throne was that she did not fully understood her husband need for honour especially public honour.
I guess Queen Esther learnt from history.
She had an important issue to discuss with her husband the King. She did not do it in the bedroom rather she prepared a banquet for the King in the presence of his servants and his closest officials.
She obey the principle.of  honour, though she was a queen loved by her husband for he was ready to give her to half of her kingdom, she still honoured him and feed his ego.
ESTHER HAD GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE
One of the major areas, every woman must be prepared to walk in wisdom is in relationship with your spouse friends and your in-laws.
The 21st Century has somehow diffuse the ardent control of in- laws on the marriage especially that of Africans

But the Bible says a wise woman builds her home with wisdom
And there is nothing wrong in dealing with all men with a measure of kindness and wisdom
It is understandable that some in-laws are difficult to handled. Kindly apply the balm of kindness on your knees praying.
If the hearts of Kings is in the hands of your Father- The Almighty, He will surely give you favour witj. them.

She handled the closest associate of her husband and of course.the enemy of her people with caution and wisdom, though she knew his wicked scheme, she never spoke to the king about it until the appropriate time.

May God help us in our homes and family.

SHE WAS A DISCREET WOMAN
The Bible says only .fool utter all that is in her heart. Queen Esther was a woman of discreet and had the capacity to conceal a matter until the appropriate time. She did not reveal her identity to her husband until it was needful.

SHE MAINTAIN HER SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY
Promotion and wealth intends to dim our spiritual sensitivity if we are not careful.
You must ensure that you continually engage  in the spiritual activities that got you to the throne to remain on the throne.
Esther was a queen who had access to delicacies and  pleasures in the palace yet she had sufficient discipline to engage in a  fast for a need that does not affect her directly but affected the people of God

SHE DID NOT USURP HER HUSBAND AUTHORITY
She was a queen in a position authority yet she.still displayed the virtue of submission to her husband and uncle. She did not either neglect or disobey palace protocol to enter the presence of the King without invitation.

In this instance, she was a good role model to other women in honouring  and respecting their spouses. .

She listened to the Eunich in charge of women  In Shushan palace when he counselled her on what things she should request  to appear before the king.

She obeyed the voice of her uncle to fast for a need apart from hers and that of her family
SHE HAD CONCERN FOR THE GOD' PEOPLE
Sometimes, it is easy to fast for your own needs and that of your family; once, our immediate family is safe, we may become less concerned about the plights of others
We are sometimes  guilty of " The Me syndrome"  but Esther and her uncle though may have been excerpted by the move to destroy the Jews were concerned about the people of God.
They went into fasting and prayer for needs beyond theirs.
SHE RISKED HER LIFE AND HER THRONE
Esther was willing to lose her throne and died for the cause of the Kingdom. The 'good life of ease had not eradicated her spiritual sensitivity Although, she was initially afraid which is natural for any woman but by subjecting herself and her immediate staff to spiritual exxercise she was able to overcome her fear and do the needful.
SHE SECURED AN ESTATE AND INHERITANCE FOR HERSELF
Like.the daughters of Zelophehad, she secured an Estate for herself. she prevented the death of her uncle and his family. She secured victory for God:s people. She became rich materially by this act of caring for God and His Kingdom.

QUEEN ESTHER HAD A.WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH HER STAFF.
Like the woman in Proverbs 31, Queen Esther had a good working relationship with her staff and they believed in her future to actively participate in the three days fasting.

MENTORSHIP
All these virtues displayed by Queen Esther were imparted to her through close mentorship from her uncle, the Enuich in charge of women in the palace.
THE HOKU SPIRIT, YOUR NUMBER ONE MENTOR
Our number one mentor is the Spirit of Christ which is within every man or women who believes in Christ.as Lord and Saviour. The Bible says The Spirit of Christ will teach you all things- He would not speak of Himself rather The Holy SPIRIT will always bring glory to.Christ and communicate what He hears from Christ to you.
GOD HAS PLACE YOUR PASTORS AND CHURCH LEADERS AS YOUR MENTOR
Your pastors and spiritual leaders in your denomination has been put in place to be a.mentor to your in all mentors.
But because of the times we live in of infiltration of evil plant among the good plant of Christ, it is advisable to be as The Bereans Believers in the book of Acts and cross check everything you receive with the Bible.
You must be a student of the Bible yourself.
Lastly, as awoma. It is your responsibility to ensure that your husband is always pleased with you by continually display those.vurtues that attracted him to you soon n the first instan e.
Esther did not change in the virtues that attracted.her husband to her instead she sustained and become better. Indeed, she became more deserving than Queen Vashti-
ESTHER WAS FAVOURED BY GID AND MAN
The favour factor cannot be over ruled. It is important as.the.virtues. But if your beauty and favour allows your to be chosen for any position, you will need godly virtues to sustain.
Though God was not directly mentioned in the Bible of Esther but we must remember that Mordecai was a Jew and obviously was in covenant with the God of Abraham and obeyed Jewish Laws.as.examplified by his refusal to bow to He-man, the enemy of the Jewish people.
