WHY DO YOU NEED TO GIVE 
TO SERVANTS OF GOD

This topic is very trendy, and has been made a controversial one but it has always been a hot topic even in the days of the Apostles 

We will not do away with the truths of the GOSPEL because of fear of criticisms. 
I am just a sister in Christ, not a General Overseer or an ordained minister but l am a disciple of Christ and has the right to defend the Truth of my Master Jesus as the Holy Spirit enables me

The Bible says we are not unaware of the devices of the enemy:

 if the Enemy can attack your faith in your Church leaders and attack your faith in also giving to the Church and your pastors.
Watch out, very soon, he would attack your faith in also healing, prosperity, holiness and every other truths in the Bible.

He decided to start with the ones you would love and that excites you.

We will try as possible to address this topic with Scriptures and only attempt to share personal experiences at some junction of the series.

APOSTLE PAUL, HIS NEEDS AND HOW GOD MET THEM

 Apostle said in 1 Cor. 9:3 -14
" I am not shy in standing up to my critics ( This is the answer l give to those who judge me)

We who are on missionary assignments for good have a right to decent accomodation and we have a right to support for us and our families

 No soldier ever serves in the army and pays his own salary, 

- No one every plants a vineyard without eating some of the grapes

- No person takes care of a flock without drinking some of the milk

 I do not say this by human authority, God's law also says the same thing

"It is written in the law of Moses ' when an ox is working in the grain, do not cover it's mouth to keep it from eating.

 When God said this, was He thinking only about oxen? 

No, He was really talking about us, that scripture was written for us because it goes on to say 

The one who plows and the one who works in the grain should hope to to get some of the grain for their work

 SINCE WE PLANT SPIRITUAL SEED AMONG YOU, IS IT TOO MUCH IF WE SHOULD HARVEST MATERIAL THINGS

Surely you know that those who work at the temple get their food from the Temple and those who serve at the altar get part of what is offers at the altar 

 In the same way, the LORD has commanded that those who tell the Good News should get their living from the work 

APOSTLE PAUL DECISION

But Apostle Paul decided not to use that right. It was his personal decision and this does not make him more holy than Apostle Peter and James the brother of our Lord Jesus Christ 

If Christ provided divine healing for you and you decided not to believe in it, then don't judge as proud- those who say they can never be sick.

 They just decided to enjoy their inheritance in Christ.

I conclude on Apostle Paul with Philippians 4:15-19 paraphrased:

When l left Macedonia, you were the only Church that gave me help

Several times, you sent me things l needed when l went to Thessalonica

THE REASON WHY YOU SHOULD GIVE:

Really, it is not that l want to receive gifts from you but l want you to have the good that comes from giving. 

AND NOW, I HAVE EVEEYTHING AND MORE, I HAVE ALL I NEED.....Because of your gift

It is like sweet smelling sacrifice to GOD, who accepts that sacrifice and is pleased with it. 

THEN, God will use his wonderful riches in CHRIST JESUS to give you everything you need.

HOLD ON We are faced by many situations, some very deadly that questions your faith and convictions on this Truth  "Jesus Is The Way, The Truth and The Life".  The Enemy will fight you with every missile:: Danger, Sickness, Failure, Disfavour, Pains, Death, Shame, Slander and even heart- break. The   goal is to make you question your Love For God and make you believe that something is wrong with you. If you are not ingrained in The Love of God for you and know without any doubts that you were saved and delivered strictly by Faith in the Name of Jesus and not by what you did and did not do, you will develop what l termed " Condemnation Complex" You will begin to condemn yourself yourself. IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER YOU SHALL SURELY BE TESTED I believe strongly in the Goodness of God. I see God as Our Heavenly Father Who is absolutely Compassionate and Generous I see Him as the Creator who is FULL of unfailingly Love Most times l would say to myself " If The God of our LORD Jesus Christ is pressed down as a sponge: All that will flow out of Him is unfailingly LOVE . A few years back, l met a Gentleman in the Spiritual realm who told Me " You are pampered by God and l laughed and said " Believers Are the Apple of His Eyes, The Only Thing we are ordained to experience is The Unfailing Love of Our Heavenly Father!
