 DECISIONS, ACTIONS & THEIR CONSEQUENCES

Hmmmm. For everything God allows a believer to go through, there is always a purpose. But every Christian is responsible for the decisions and actions taken by them.

Rebellion is not until you totally usurp Christ as the authority figure in your life. Rebellion is when you know this is the truth, this is the will of God and you deliberately turn away from it .

Whenever a Christian is about to make a mistake or go into error, God will do all He can to stop such, a dream of the night, a vision, lack of peace, things not working out as you planned, lack of ease.

For God does speak —now one way, now another — though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword.- Job 33

The case of  King David and Beersheba is a typical example. God put checks in place to stop King David from committing this sin and error planned by the Enemy against his destiny. ( Some Bible Scholars advocate it's David  weakness that defeated him, but you must understand the Enemy will always attack through any open door in a believer' life)

God arranged checks to prevent King David from committing that grievous sin as shown in 2 Samuel 11:3b, 4b, 8, and 11.

Bathsheba  was married to one of David's loyal solider; she was not purified from her monthly flow, Uriah refused to yield to the King's tactics.

Again, when King David wanted to know the population of the army of the Lord as incited by Satan, God stirred Joab to advise the King against it. 1 Chronicle 21

God is always faithful, He would warn us against going the wrong way..

You may take yours further by asking God to keep you from error by ensuring that He withstand you until you obey His voice.

We must understand that errors/mistakes/disobedience to God's Word are grievous. They may seem small and insignificant before we execute them but their consequences can span generations when not corrected on time. Remember the principle of little yeast in a dough...

Momentarily, Esau chose to appease his hungry stomach and lost Eternal relevance. Though there was a prophecy that the Older will serve the younger: The prophecy did not stated that the Older will not have an inheritance in Jehovah.

Manasseh and Ephraim were subjected to the same scenario yet both were tribes in Israel  and have Eternal relevance; two of the gates of the New Jerusalem has their names. Rev. 21:12

King David was ordained to be the greatest King that ever lived but momentarily indulgence in temptation brought the Enemy's fury into his family.

Your History is made of daily decisions, actions that cumulate into  your destiny. Your 'Tomorrow' is carved and shaped by today's desires, decisions and actions.

Your children and seed' s destiny are greatly shaped by your decisions today.

King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20:4 made a decision of carrying out a seemingly simple innocent action of showing envoys from a foreign land all the possessions of God in his palace under the king's  and four of his  descendants  (Daniel, Mashack, AbedNego and Shadrach) suffered the consequence of this decision and action-

Daniel became a slave as a result of Hezekiah' s decision and action.

CHOSE TO MAKE DECISIONS THAT  WILL BLESS THE NEXT GENERATION.

IT SELFISH TO THINK, IT IS MY LIFE AND I CAN LIVE AS I WANT.
