CHRISTIAN HUSBAND!- UNLESS YOU LOVE YOUR WIFE AS CHRIST ......

The institution of Marriage is  ordained by God and can only be sustained by His wisdom and power. It's a mystery and only the God who created it can help you understand it.

No fallen man can truly love another person especially his wife as Christ loves the Church without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit: For the average man is first concern about himself and his interest before he considers others.

Our LORD and Saviour informed the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they are ensued with power from on high, then they can be Christ  witness to the World.

The Christian marriage is crystallized by God to be a witness of God's love and authority to people who do not believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

The Bible says 'for God so loved the World, your union is the first institution used by God  for the full expression of His Love.
It is God's desire that His ove demonstrated in your family in its true volors;  ( the caring husband, submissive wife and godly, respectful and well- behaved children.)  will  flow to your neighbourhood and ultimately to the world.

One of the most effective methods of Soul-winning is 'ONE on ONE interpersonal evangelism' and a Christ -based family and home is an effective tool to bring men to Christ.

In a world filled with functioning mechanisms so structured to keep families apart  and fight against true intimacy among its member, Christian marriages based on kingdom principles are the only available saviours.

Selfishness has eaten deep into all fibers of Human endeavours including the family  and one of its outcomes is same sex marriages where partners are more like co-tenants instead of the God's marriage template of 'THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH"

Jesus Christ, our LORD says " “You are the salt of the earth.
 But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?
 It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 
Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. 
Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16

Your marriage as a believer is ordained to be a place of sweetness and preservation that will bring men and women to the saving knowledge of Christ 

The unbeliever should see the harmony, respect, love in your family and home and desire to know the God and His principles which produces this in your life. You are the Light that shines in darkness, the City set in a Hill for all to see.

And unless you submit your marriages and home to the authority of Christ; God's purpose for your marriage may be thwarted and your marriage destiny ruined.

MY CONCEPT OF LOVE

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles. It's various symbols of giving hugs, blowing kisses, having a dreamy eyes towards it subject and many other shows that is a virtue widely accepted by all as very important  I grew up in a environment where the Word Love was mostly used when there is a relationship between the opposite sex. The Women l stayed with as a child never used the Word ' I love you' to express any kind of feelings to me and my father and only sister certainly never used same word on me.
