THE SIN OF OVER FAMILIARITY

MARY DID NOT COMMIT THE MISDEMEANOR OF OVER -FAMILIARITY

One of the major challenges those called to serve God’s anointed will face is the spiritual misdemeanor of over familiarity with God’s anointed.

Jesus Christ went around towns and cities performing signs and wonders but could do nothing in his home town because:

“The next Sabbath he began teaching in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. They asked, “Where did he get all this wisdom and the power to perform such miracles?” Then they scoffed, “He’s just a carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph,* Judas, and Simon. And his sisters live right here among us.” They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him.”

Many people failed to receive the miracles sent to them by God at the appointed time because they already have a preconceived mindset of how their miracle should appear.

Each believer can either receive by the anointing or by personal faith. I think one of the cheapest ways to receive miracles in the Kingdom is via faith in the words spoken by God’s anointed.

Every man is ordinary until anointed by the supernatural. When a man comes in contact with the anointing of God, he ceases to be ordinary; such is equipped with the power of the Most High and is capable of doing anything the Most high can do on earth by the leading of the Holy Spirit..

This is why the Bible says “with God, all things are possible and in the same breathe says to him that believes “all things are possible.

While God can do all things- the all things, that God can do is achieved through his anointed who is his representative on earth.

Usually, God enters personal covenants and anoints different men in His Kingdom especially those called into the fivefold ministry. It is only God who knows who is who in His kingdom.

The Bible says we know no man/woman after the flesh, so we must open our hearts to respect all men and receive their ministry.

Though, Jesus Christ my Lord was the son of Mary, she dd not just treated him as a son, she treated him as the Son of God, as her prophet and her Saviour.

Mary successfully allowed the transition from ‘MY SON’ to “MY REDEEMER to take place in her heart and it reflected in her actions.

1. In John 2:5, she told the servants of the man holding the feast to do whatever Jesus asked of them, this is an high estimation of her son for she knew his worth in her world.

The value you derive from your spiritual leader depends on the worth, you place on them. My Lord Jesus ate, slept with the disciples. Peter spoke to him atimes as a colleague but they knew He is LORD.

We are all sons and daughters of the Most High but we are not anointed equally.

We are all graced and given assignments but God has placed and position fathers, leaders and mentors in the Kingdom and we must accept and respect God's order.

The Bible says those who labour in the Word among you are worth of double honour.

We must learn to carefully guard and guide our hearts to remain humble in His presence.

Some people naturally have the tendency to be proud and appear self sufficient, but we must respect what God respect and honour what he honours.

Sincerely, you have to knowingly watch over your conduct in this area for it is 'easy' in Jesus name.

3. At the death of The Christ at the Cross, Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ was there. Though, the Bible did not mention his brothers, sisters and father.

4. And at the day of Pentecost . she was there.
She was a woman who placed a high premium on the anointing and the Christ.
