FREED TO BE ME BY THE LOVE OF THE CHRIST

ME was capsulated in a child 
When my father and mother modelled me to the picture they held for an expected and anticipated  son who turned out to become a daughter of Zion. 

ME was covered by the demands and training of  aunties who graciously cared for  a young girl separated from parental love

ME brought up by loving aunties who were used by God to began my training in 'servantship' because l am ordained to be a servant of Jesus Christ, a bond slave of The Christ

ME truly began to emerge in a 14 year old girl  in a street in Lagos who had to use her wit and limited wisdom to say 'YES' to what she perceived was good for 'ME' and say 'NO' to what she termed dangerous for ME

ME was atimes confused, but kept moving, 
ME was  sometimes perplexed but knew l can't give up now
ME had a picture hidden in my heart, where no peeping eyes could see; 
Where no dangerous star gazers could probe

ME wanted to become become a professor who imparts knowledge
ME dreamt of becoming  a woman with a happy and beautiful family of  renown who created inventions
Who motivated others to push ahead inspite of unfavourable circumstances 

ME had 'Dreams' that seemed out of reach but ME refused to let.go because such dreams were my only hope of a better life 
This unseen dreams become ME' s road map for destiny then

 These dreams kept  ME happy
These dreams seemed like ME in fools paradise
But they kept ME alive and happy
The dreams were simple but a.deep   yearning, a hidden picture  viewed by only ME
ME knew l must pursue this dream
ME knew l must not settle for anything less

Young ME was plagued with different seeming 'good' destiny arrangement by persons who advocated;
You are young and innocent and need someone to take care of you, come under my wings and l will watch over you for life

ME should have been happy and jump at the opportunity of  a man  becoming my alpha and omega
Yet ME was restrained by an unseen Force within

This force was silent, His voice was not heard, it spoke without a speech yet His thoughts were always felt and communicated
ME, heard this speechless Voice saying

There is more
There is more than this
And you will get it
If you keep moving on

So Me began to wage through the distractions, opposition, enemies disguised as friends
Until ME could hear the speech of the unseen Voice within

ME paused in my pursuit of ' l must not end up like those before ME"
ME stopped to take in the Breath of The Eternal Being
Who had kept ME safe as l swim in the flood of dangerous waters called the system of the World

ME finally emerged in The Light
The Light that was within but was enveloped by the darkness in the Soul

The Light that quietly fought until it's power full  rays broke .through the walls of the Soul
And shines with The Breath of The Spirit of Christ

Now, ME has began a New journey
ME is freed by the Love of Jesus Christ
ME is empowered by The Resurrection Power
ME is Freed to become the Me that God my Father ordained.!
I AM FREED TO BE THE ME IN CHRIST
For Christ in ME, the hope of glory!

MY CONCEPT OF LOVE

Love is a Broad Word that is used in many circles. It's various symbols of giving hugs, blowing kisses, having a dreamy eyes towards it subject and many other shows that is a virtue widely accepted by all as very important  I grew up in a environment where the Word Love was mostly used when there is a relationship between the opposite sex. The Women l stayed with as a child never used the Word ' I love you' to express any kind of feelings to me and my father and only sister certainly never used same word on me.
