WHICH GOD DO YOU KNOW?

DIFFERENT DIMENSION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: and the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him,

 

the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, 

the Spirit of counsel and might, 

the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 

and shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD:

and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 

but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, 

and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: 

and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth

, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 

And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

THE KING OF GLORY IS ONE!

The Almighty is ONE GOD but He is ONE with different Names and each of His name reflects His character, dimensions and power.

Yahweh/ Jehovah  means the The LORD; The God who Always Is; The self- sufficient God.  Each Name of God  represents a characteristic of God that is reflected by His power.   

Every other Being on the Earth; visible and invisible is not self- sufficient for their existence and survival. Satan formerly called Lucifer is not self- sufficient. The power exhibits by him is originally from The LORD.

Yahweh needs No one; either visible or invisible.  He created all things. Everyone and everything depends on Him but He relys on no one. HE IS GOD ALONE.. But the Devil needs men to carry out his vision successfully on The Earth

The Benevolent Father is a dimension of God that is accessed by all humanity. 

"My heart explodes with praise to you! Now and forever my heart bows in worship to you, my King and my God! 

Lord, you are great and worthy of the highest praise! For there is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds you. 

Generation after generation will declare more of your greatness and declare more of your glory. 

Your awe-inspiring acts of power have everyone talking! I’m telling people everywhere about your excellent greatness! 

You’re kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and very patient with people who fail you. 

Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. 

You are the Lord who reigns over your never-ending kingdom through all the ages of time and eternity! 

You are faithful to fulfill every promise you’ve made. 

You manifest yourself as kindness in all you do. Weak and feeble ones you will sustain. Those bent over with burdens of shame you will lift up. 

You have captured our attention and the eyes of all look to you. You give what they hunger for at just the right time. 

When you open your generous hand, it’s full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing.

Psalms 145:1‭, ‬3‭-‬4‭, ‬6‭, ‬8‭, ‬13‭-‬16 TPT

He is good to all His creature. "All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time. 

When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things. 

When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust. 

When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground

. Psalm 104:28

God loves all His creature for the Bible says " For God so love the World that He gave His only begotten Son to die. But God love is enjoyed and maximised only when you accept His love for you and give your life to Jesus Christ, His Son 

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ONE TOO!

In the same vein, the Holy Spirit is ONE Spirit as Romans 12 & 1 Corinthians 12 stated but with different manifestation and characteristics. 

The same Spirit will manifest his gift in form of Word of knowledge, Word of wisdom, the working of miracles etc  The Person manifesting or giving Word of Knowledge, Word of wisdom, ability to discern spirits, working of miracles, gift of faith is The ONE and ONLY, the Spirit of Christ, The Spirit of The Father named The Holy Spirit in this age 

Just as the gifts of God has different expressions, so also does the PERSON of the Holy Spirit: HE has different expressions 

MY PRRSON & MY GIFTS

For example, some people are attracted to me because of the manifestations of the gifts of  The Spirit in my life. Usually, they meet the expression of the gifts of the Spirit in my life before they meet my person 

When 'ME' enters a room, few may stand up or lift up their gaze to acknowledge my presence because of my height.  Most persons will wait for me to greet them before they acknowledge my presence. But when the gifts of the Holy Spirit is in manifestation, many will want to be my friend immediately.

This shows that my person may not attract them but the manifestations of the gifts of The Holy Spirit is the attraction.  I have met a few who come to know me as a person because we met in circumstances that did not allow the gifts of the Holy Spirit to come in manifestations and we got talking and relating as ordinary beings 

And they liked what they saw about my day to day life and are drawn by this lifestyle 

THE DIFFERENT DIMENSION OF THE SPIRIT

In the same vein, the Person of the Holy Spirit is also in diffect expressions. Every Believer has the Holy Spirit as a Person who comes to dwell in you when you gave your heart to Jesus Christ at the new birth.

It is the Person of the Holy Spirit that comes to dwell in you at the new Birth that we call the  Born again experience. The Nature of the Almighty, the Nature of the resurrected Christ comes into your spirit man. The Nature makes it possible for a believer to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect. This perfection is only possible through the working of the Holy Spirit.

But each believer has the control vent of which dimension of the Presence of the Holy Spirit is permitted.

The book of Isaiah 11  bears credence to this truth.

WHO QUALIFIES TO RECEIVE

And there  shall come forth a Shoot out of the stock of Jesse [David's father], 

and a Branch out of his roots shall grow and bear fruit. [Isa. 4:2; Matt. 2:23; Rev. 5:5; 22:16.] 

RECEIVE WHAT ( EXPRESSIONS OF THE SPIRIT)

And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him–

the Spirit of wisdom

 and understanding, 

the Spirit of counsel

 and might, 

the Spirit of knowledge

 and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord–

EFFECTS OF THESE ECPRESSION ON THE RECEIVER

 And shall make Him of quick understanding,

and His delight shall be in the reverential and 

obedient fear of the Lord. 

And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, 

neither decide by the hearing of His ears; 

But with righteousness and justice shall He judge the poor and decide with fairness for the meek, the poor, and the downtrodden of the earth; and 

He shall smite the earth and the oppressor with the rod of His mouth, and with his breadth he will slay the wicked

And righteousness shall be the girdle of His waist and faithfulness the girdle of His loins. 

IMPACT OF THE IMPARTATION ON OTHER CREATURES

And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid, and the calf and the young lion and the fatted domestic animal together;

 and a little child shall lead them. 

And the cow and the bear shall feed side by side, their young shall lie down together, and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 

And the sucking child shall play over the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder's den. 

IMPACTS ON THE CHURCH 

They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain

,

IMPART ON THE EARTH

 for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

 And it shall be in that day that the Root of Jesse shall stand as a signal for the peoples;

 of Him shall the nations inquire and seek knowledge, 

and His dwelling shall be glory [His rest glorious]! [John 12:32.] 

And in that day the Lord shall again lift up His hand a second time to recover (acquire and deliver) the remnant of His people which is left, 

from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Pathros, from Ethiopia, from Elam [in Persia], from Shinar [Babylonia], from Hamath [in Upper Syria], and from the countries bordering on the [Mediterranean] Sea. [Jer. 23:5-8.] 

And He will raise up a signal for the nations and will assemble the outcasts of Israel and will gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

MSG Version

A green Shoot will sprout from Jesse’s stump, from his roots a budding Branch. 

The life-giving Spirit of God will hover over him, 

the Spirit that brings wisdom 

and understanding, 

The Spirit that gives direction 

and builds strength, 

the Spirit that instills knowledge 

and Fear-of-God. 

Fear-of-God will be all his joy and delight. 

He won’t judge by appearances, won’t decide on the basis of hearsay.

 He’ll judge the needy by what is right, render decisions on earth’s poor with justice.

 His words will bring everyone to awed attention. 

A mere breath from his lips will topple the wicked. 

Each morning he’ll pull on sturdy work clothes and boots, and build righteousness and faithfulness in the land. 

The wolf will romp with the lamb,

 the leopard sleep with the kid. 

Calf and lion will eat from the same trough, 

and a little child will tend them.

 Cow and bear will graze the same pasture, their calves and cubs grow up together, 

and the lion eat straw like the ox. 

The nursing child will crawl over rattlesnake dens, the toddler stick his hand down the hole of a serpent. 

Neither animal nor human will hurt or kill on my holy mountain. 

The whole earth will be brimming with knowing God-Alive, a living knowledge of God ocean-deep, ocean-wide. * * *

Isaiah 11:1‭-‬9 MSG

The above Scriptures are splitted into  parts and each part is a build on of the preceding verses. The outcome of the second part depends on the first part and vice-verse.

The first part reveals the Source of emergence of the subject  

The Spirit will descend on a group of people but in this case, the Bible is specific about the  'Who' that the  Spirit will descend.

The Holy Spirit indeed descended in Acts 2:1-10 and it was the exact group of people stated in Israel 11.

Though Bible Scholars believe that this passage refers to the Messiah, the Son of David, but the believers are the branches in the Vine as stated in John 15 

Jesus Christ our LORD ( May His Name be praised forever) is identified as the Vine and His Father the Vine dresser but the Believer is called the branch 

It means The Spirit  is ordained to come on every believer. It is called the Seven fold Spirit of God in some Church quarter.

Let's identify the different dimensions of the Holy Spirit has stated in Isaiah 11.

While the AMPC version addresses it as a different Spirit entity, the MSG presented it as the same Spirit giving different expression of His Life. 

THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM

The Spirit of wisdom was what Joshua received in the book of Deuteronomy when the Bible says " Moses lay hand in Joshua and the Spirit of Wisdom came in him. 

While the Spirit of wisdom on Joshua was for leadership and wisdom to distribute inheritance among the tribes of Israel. 

The Spirit of wisdom on Bezalel to equipp him with divine skills to create items for the tabernacle of God  it manifested on Joshua as Leadership but on Bezalel as Creativity: Same Spirit of wisdom but different manifestation.

The same Spirit of wisdom and understanding was in manifestation in the life of King Solomon and he used it build the Temple for Yahweh and also create great wealth for the Nation of Israel.

The Bible noted in Solomon days that  Silver and gold was very common in Israel. 

Again, the same Spirit of Wisdom. The same Spirit of God but in different manifestations 

THE SPIRIT OF MIGHT/ POWER

 The Spirit of might and power is the dimension of the Spirit that gives supernatural strength and ability that is humanly impossible. King David and his fighting men had this  expressions of the Spirit of might and power.  While the Spirit of power was used by David to win wars and defeat the Enemy; the same spirit of might and power was on Samson and manifested in form of supernatural strength to lift materials that is humanly impossible for a mere man to lift up.

THE SPIRIT OF THE FEAR OF THE LORD.

The dimension of the Holy Spirit that the World and the Church needs now desperately  is the Spirit of the fear of the LORD which allows the believer to walk in revential fear in response to God's Word

The only reason Joseph would not sleep with Pharoah's wife was " Will l do this and sin against God'. Joseph feared the LORD in the absence of his brothers and father 

The fear of the KORD will make a man delight in doing the Will of the Father. The same Spirit who enables a believer in operate in divine wisdom, gain divine insight to all things, give scriptural sound counsel can also help a Christin delights in the fear of God , take great delight in obeying God's WORD.

It's is the dimension of The Spirit that a man desires that S)he will see it's manifestation 

King David said " One thing l desire is what l seek for that l might dwell in the House of the LORD 

We desire that the Spirit will be poured from the heavenly realms so that we can live in the fear of The LORD again
